The ideal candidate for this role has a history of successfully selling software to enterprise customers and thrives in the fast-paced nature of a high-growth, early-stage company balancing multiple priorities A solid understanding of the End User Computing (EUC) sector, with specific knowledge of virtualization technologies and markets, such as Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft, is a plus but not a must. We are looking for an excellent communicator, armed with strong negotiation and influencing skills, who can travel both domestically and internationally for work.


The Account Executive is responsible for finding and signing new logos, overseeing the sales process, and acting as a point of contact for existing customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Report to VP of Sales, develop and pursue opportunities for sales of the company’s products within the assigned territory to consistently attain and overachieve the assigned quota.
  • Continuously develop a robust sales pipeline through individual outreach, collaborating with your business development representative, finding expansion and upsell opportunities with existing customers, and managing inbound prospects
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new logos, working in close partnership with Sales Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing teams. Partner with Marketing to plan and execute marketing and promotional programs within the assigned region.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in assigned existing accounts. Identify and close follow-on business.
  • Attend conferences and other events to work at the company’s booth to drive lead generation for the entire company. Travel estimated at 10%
  • Keep Salesforce (CRM) updated with latest notes, activities, next steps, close date, forecast status to ensure good hygiene to learn more about our opportunities, customers and overall sales process.

Job requirements

  • 2+ years sales experience, with a proven track record of developing a greenfield territory, executing across the full sales cycle, and adding net new logos
  • Ability to work independently and manage the entire sales process. From sourcing and prospecting new logos to managing Proof of Concepts, negotiating and closing
  • Ability to manage customer relationships from end-users to executive sponsors
  • Experience developing a territory plan for acquiring new business
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to lead customer calls with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and act on a variety of customer engagements/initiatives at one time
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Desire to work for a fast-paced startup and take on increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German (German is a pro but not a must)
