Our customers are the who’s-who of the Financial, Healthcare, Government, Education, Energy and Retail leaders. They rely on our platform to ensure any changes that come into their desktop environment have been appropriately tested for scale, performance and compatibility impact both in pre-production testing and in-production end-user experience monitoring.


As a result of our continuing success, we are now looking to expand our sales team and looking to hire an additional Business Development Representative (BDR)to help our company grow into its next major phase. The BDR role is an important component of our success, enabling us to reach new prospects and expand our market presence. With operations in the US (Boston) and Europe (Amsterdam), we are already well-positioned to drive expansive growth in our current markets and then look beyond. About the role

Login VSI is looking for a Business Development Representative that is eager and excited to kick off their sales career and join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment. You will continually be in front of our Prospects and must be comfortable spending time speaking on the phone to prospects from different industries, territories, and job levels. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal interactions is critical. You will work hand in hand with our Account Managers to target identified prospect accounts, define a pursuit strategy, and use a series of tools to make contact with the appropriate individuals and set up a qualified sales meeting.


Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative will work hand in hand with the Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to target identified prospect accounts, define a pursuit strategy and use a series of tools to make contact with the appropriate individuals and setup a qualified sales meeting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect key stakeholders of the company’s target accounts and customers via (cold) call, e-mail and social strategies
  • Focus on prospects and existing customer base in the assigned territory
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Use provided prospecting tools and maintain excellent records in the CRM and other appropriate systems
  • Properly describe the business value of our products to prospects
  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments
  • Assist Account Executives in (potential) customer meetings
  • Assist with building long term relationships with (potential) customers
  • Participate in Marketing events as required, working at a booth and interacting with prospects face-to-face


Job requirements


  • Relevant sales experience
  • Desirable: 0-1 years of experience in a quota carrying position such as a previous BDR role, or accountable to hit some defined target
  • Experience and comfortable with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support Marketing events
  • Must be willing and able to work daily in Boston, MA Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Desirable: previous experience using the following tools:
    • Marketing automation software, preferably Hubspot
    • CRM system, preferably Salesforce, Outreach
