Demand Generation Manager

Job description

The Demand Generation Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns that successfully generate demand for Login VSI. S/he provides support for the achievement of business objectives by developing marketing campaigns that generate awareness, interest, desire and preference for Login VSI solutions for the direct salesforce (domestic and global) as well as the partner network. The Demand Gen Manager reports to the VP of Marketing, and this will be an individual contributor role with opportunity for growth into a “player/coach” director role, managing a small team. S/he will have strong cross-departmental support from product marketing and corporate marketing (events, digital marketing).


S/he will establish and maintain strong relations with sales (including partner), including “owning” the lead cycle management. S/he will be responsible for working directly with the VP of Marketing, VP of Sales, and executive team to develop high level ROI and reporting metrics that speak to individual program and overall marketing effectiveness.


Key Deliverables:

  • Demand generation campaigns (including online campaigns, content syndication, direct marketing, etc.) tied to the revenue goals of the sales and partner organization
  • Leads that are qualified and distributed to the for Login VSI sales force
  • Go to market campaign plans for specific solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute campaigns that are directly tied to revenue targets
  • Maintain marketing calendars and campaign systems
  • Work with appropriate sales management/personnel to ensure that leads are reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner
  • Assure compliance in lead management process and systems
  • Provide ongoing communication with management team on demand generation needs, priorities, and results

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of work-related experience in technology marketing with an emphasis on demand generation
  • Ideally looking for specific expertise in Digital, ABM, Customer Lifecycle Marketing (Retention), and Partner Marketing
  • Proven history of success in similar roles
  • Marketing competency and demonstrated experience in marketing, demand generation, market research and marketing communications
  • Technical competency and knowledge of software and solutions development processes is desired
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to take initiative/work with limited direction
  • BS/BA or similar degree is desired in Business, Marketing, or related field
